Find Ancestors

as some of you know i have had a mystery family to track down for some time, and so far come up poss' names, but nothing solid. ive been trying to find the parents of my grandad GEORGE GRIMWOOD, all i know is his father was also called GEORGE GRIMWOOD, but he had passed away before my grandad married (1939). there is a witness on george snr marriage cirtiff', i dont know who she is, but could this be george's mother?- its LILLIAN COOPER ive tryed everything poss to try and find my great grandparents, to no avail, so thought it might be worth looking at a address i have on my grandad's marriage cirtifficate. could anyone find out who lived at the following addy please, or know how i can go about doing this- the date is 4-april-1939, and addy is 8 raeburn road, ipswich, suffolk, uk. this is the address my grandad resided at when he got married, so may be poss this is where his mum lived aswell. many thanks in advance kez

hya, im very limited on info, all i know is my great-grandad was george grimwood- but he had already passed away when my grandad married, and ive been unable to find my great-nan's name. i cant find a birth cirtificate for my grandad, which would of been the greatest help.

george grimwood- i have no dob for him, but he was 24years of age when he married in 1939, so a estimate is the best i can do im affraid- around 1915. kez x

yes, george married ruby brame. i dont know about siblings, but my dad say's he knows he had a brother- (great help, i know!) i have very limited info on george, as no one seems to remember a thing about him!- which sucks! apparently, the closest my family can remember, is george passed away late 60's-early 70's. kez x
