George William Rycroft b 1853 d 1911 aged 57. I am either having a blond moment or need my specs changing. I can't find his marriage, but have found birth and death. Yorkshire, Possibly Bradford Help would be appreciated. Thanks LLx

Reggie, I think he was b in Bradford, West Yorkshire. I have just found one married to a Catherine and his b date is correct. Thats on the 1861 census. Could you tell me if theres a way of finding her maiden name, other than sending for a marriage cert? Thanks LLx

Only by buying the birth cert of a child If you have his death........who registered it? Reg

I think you're getting a bit confused.......if he was born c1853, he couldn't be married in 1861. Reg

Is this the birth?
