hello i'm trying to tie up some odds and ends with my family tree to give me a fresh start, please can anyone help me with the marriages of Charles Catten born 1844-1909 fishmonger richmond surrey to poss Ellen Taylor born c1854 we cant find the marriage but she was the mother of his children. Rose Catten born 1877 richmond surrey to George Pines born 1866 i've been told they poss went to canada. Lilly Catten born 1875 to Eanest Chapple born c1875 Daisy Catten born 1881 to Charles Greenwood born 1881 Edward Catten born 1886 to ?? Ivy Catten born 1882 to Jack Davis born1888 all from richmond surrey, they were all mourners at charles's funeral. Ivy Catten also had a son Albert born 1900 i can't find anythin about him either apart from his birth cert with no father on it. any help with any of this would be lovely, thank you alison

Ellen Fray isn't the mother of charles's nine children, yes julie thats him, (my great Grandfather)he died in misterious circumstances thee was an inquest it was in the papers, i have copys but there is real mystery with his wife

Ali I think Ellen was his 2nd wife, if you look at the 1881 Ellen would of been 10 when Charles (son) was born and Ann/ Annie is with them too In the 1861 John was a Gen Dealer Charles dealer in veg 1871 charles was a Hawker of fish 1881 charles was a Fishmonger
