Are there online records of 1840s soldiers who DID

The man I'm trying to get details of was a soldier in the 1840s and 50s, left service by 1860. Thanks for any replies. |

try putting his name in search on National Archives site. i found a relation on there who was in the Army from 1825-1839 when he was invalided out on a pension. got a copy too of his army record through the site. Shirley |

Hi, if you google the name Kevin Asplin you'll get his brilliant military resources site (sorry can never remember website address - it's far too long!!). He's also extremely helpful and may be able to point you in the right direction if you can't find anything on the site. Best of luck Maria |
