This is what i think but could be wrong Lily had the 3 Drury children Met William Branch didn't marry and had 2 children Then got back with George Drury and married him in 1902 William had the Drury/Branch name to keep in with the other children ( if you know that i mean)

Nicola i couldn't find a marriage for Willam Branch to Lillie Shaw so maybe they wern't married and that why we could find a Drury to Shaw marriage

Its such a shame because the son of William who I have spokento would obviously love to know who his real grandfather is, but dosn't look like I am going to have much luck tracing anything.

Thanks June, that looks like it could be her, how strange. Looks like she was also married to a Branch.

Do you know if I would be able to search anywhere where it gives you the list of the family at an adress like head of household, then wife & sibling etc?

It is all very strange, it just appears that William has a different father to all other children.

I havn't actually seen the birth cert myself, but I was told by the son of William George Branch/Drury that his dads birth cert says Branch.
