Found the following entries for TAYLOR: 1821 Census; TAYLOR George, Males 2, Females 5, Occ: Agriculture and HARIS Thomas, Males 6, Females 3, occ: Agriculture ( 2 families, same abode ) 1831 Census: TAYLOR John, ( inmate ), Labourer, Age 76, Males 1, Females 0, Children 0. TAYLOR George, Labourer, Age -, Males 1, Females 1, Children 4. *** Inmate could mean the Workhouse ? Doesn't say in the book, just wondering out loud !..*** Regards, Debbie O'

Hi Deborah. I have a Francis Mary Phipps who married a William Pope at All Saints,Warbleton,Hailsham 23 Oct 1863. They had a daughter Elizabeth Ann or Sarah Elizabeth who was born in 1864(abt July) and any info' would be much appreciated. Francis' father was James Phipps, would you have any info on him\or his wife from the 1821 census? Regards,Michael
