Hi Lara If you do have the time(!!) I would be very grateful if you could try and solve a mystery for me PLEASE. I am looking for any records of my late Grandad, Evan Davies ( sorry!!!) born S Wales, think possibly Cardiganshire, or Tonypanndy/Treorchy Rhonda Valley area 1867-68, all I have is his father is called John who was a Labourer. John was deceased by 1918 where on Evan's wedding certificate he states his age as 30 yrs a Bachelor, born Wales previous a miner now working ASC (?). Which would have made him born 1888, but that is incorrect as it has been proved he was 80 yrs when he died in 1948, family relatives have confirmed this, that he was much older than his wife, also older than his father in law!! Any information will be a major break through, I have been informed that on the 1901 Census there is an Evan Davies born 1867 in Wales now living in Islington London as a chemist, druggist, but no other details. I leave it up to you!! please Lara there is no rush. I thank you so much for this kind offer. regards Susan
