i would think that if they were both born around 1930 they'd marry 1950ish, that sound about right? aged 20/21 julie

hiya, if you have a rough idea then you could always search ancestrys complete index BMD's for free, is same as using 1837 just costs nothing!!! it means searching by quarter, year by year, but when you find it, then get cert and we have him!!! i'll be going for lunch in a bit, but if you geta rough idea, and you'd like help looking then i'll see if i can help hope that made sense LOL julie

Julie, I am not sure exactly where Shirley Peedle was born, but think Prestwood Bucks. Eric Kirby Bacon was born in Wycome,Bucks in 1931, Eric's father as I said was born in Nottingham (Ernest Kirby Bacon). Eric and Shirley were married in Buckinghamshire. Hugs Jackie X

Hi Julie, Think I have a brain cell missing, I appear to have David born c 1817 down as Daniel (parents Edward and Rebecca)!!. As for the Bacon line I have all that. Shirley is married to Eric Bacon, he has one brother and three sister (one of whom was my mother), the only person on the Bacon side I have never been able to find is my Grandfather Ernest Kirby Bacon. I know where he was born and know he married Helen Smart my grandmother. But he disappeared after my Uncle Peter was born in 1939, I have been given to understand that he went off with another woman possibly to Guernsey?Jersey? something like that. Never even found a death for him either. Ernest was born in 1896 in Nottingham, I have all his siblings,parents,grandparents and so on, but he did a runner,never to be found.
