Do you have any more info, i:e wifes name childrens names??

I can't see him in 41, no matches for Castleford. I can't see him in later censuses either. What is the earlist census you have him on and where was he? Linda

His wife was called Charlotte and his son was called Caleb born 1843 in Castleford. Many thanks, Fern -x-.

No luck yet for the 1841, but did look up Caleb and it states father George was born in Hunslett so taking a look at that.

hiya fern, on having read this thread i became curious, are the kilners direct descendants of yours??????? the reason i ask is on series 1 of WDYTYA, jeremy clarksons grandfather was a KILNER, maybe worthwhile seeing if Jeremy has a website, i know its a long shot but it is something to consider, if he hasnt got a web site, then you could try and contact him through the BBC. just a thought happy hunting Julie
