Personally I have a feeling that the edward found as a grandson is the one your looking for.............. perhaps he wasn't granddad perhaps they felt they were too old to be his parents? yes deborah i have all that info myself. edward cox publow gransparents thomas and mary auntie janet she married charles coles so edward is down as her nephew in the 1871 census he was 17 working in hotel. but i def dont think that one is my edward cox on family search there is a edward cox and father thomas and mother mary but cant find them on the census, only edward in 1901 when he was married then and living in wales with his family.
