Annie, thank you for your wonderful offer. I think I am going to be a good customer! I am searching for the marriage of Job Fry to Elizabeth? circa 1818/1819 in Camerton/Clutton/Midsomer Norton/Bath , Somerset. also Joseph Grant born circa 1787 Buckland Dinham/Bath Somerset , married a Jane ?. Again it would be around 1805/1806, the first known child was born 1807 I believe Joseph also married a second time a person by the name of Hester, which is to be found on 1841 census. I have searched Bath BMD but the marriage to Hester is after this date. 1846 in Bath I purchased the Somerset Parish Records from S&N vol 14. but unfortunately none of the names I am searching for are on it. Thank you very much once again for your kind offer much appreciated. Elizabeth

I am sorry I am not having much luck. The only marriage I can find for Job Fry was 30.08.1789 Camerton to Frances Pye. Joseph Grant I have a marriage in Wooley 01. 01 1804 to Mary Hooper. and Joseph Grant Widower marrying Charlotte Read Bath st. Michael 28.10.1822 but not the marriages you want. Wooley also has Isaac Grant marrying Hester Gray and John Grant marrying Ann Gray

Annie, thank you for all your help. The marriage of Job Fry to Frances Pye is marvellous, I have a feeling this could be the father of the Job I am seeking. Also the marriages you provided of Joseph Grant are a great help for future references too. Your offer is a real Easter Bunny to me living abroad and having to do research over the network. Thank you so much once again, I am sure I will be back with more requests. Wishing you a very happy Easter, from a very happy Easter Bunny. Elizabeth

Hi Annie, Please could you have a look for William HICKS marrying an Eliza RITCHER / PITCHER or PRITCHER, circa 1827? Their children were all born in various parishes in Bath. Thank you very much for your time and generous offer. Jeff

Hi Annie, Once again I am taking up your kind offer. I am searching for the marriages of: John Ford (born 1750 Writhlington, Somerset) married Betty Dicks (born 1750). The marriage would have been around 1770 in Writhlington, or Frome, Somerset. And Thomas Lewis born 1789 Timsbury, Somerset to Maria born 1793 Timsbury, Somerset. The marriage would have been around 1820-1825 in Timsbury or Camerton, Somerset. The first child known was born 1825 Camerton. Many thanks once again. Elizabeth

Hi Annie, Thanks very much for the offer. Please don't do this if it is difficult, but if it is indexed by surname, please please can you give me the details of any entries for the surname Glasscodine or Glascodine? It is a very rare surname and I seem to be just about the only person researching it! I believe all the Glasscodines were related to each other way back. My great-grandmother was a Glasscodine and her ancestors came from Bath - the furthest back I have is John Glascadine or Gaskardine married Jane Lidiard 13 Apr 1789 St. James, Bath, but my (late) grandmother's family tree has John's father as William who married in 1733 - she hasn't put who he married! And she has William's father as Roger who married in 1708, but again she hasn't put who he married. Like I said, though, please don't do this if it is going to take ages, only if it is quick! I wouldn't want to take up much of your time on it! Kate.

Elizabeth I could not find your Ford marriage but my disc does not cover Frome. I did find Thomas Lewis at Camerton. It is a bit earlier than you thought so there might be older children. He married Mary Harding on 2. 06. 1811. by banns. They are both described as sejourners which is a term I have not come across before but I think it means they were only there on a temporary basis.

I am sorry Jeffrey your marriage is not on the Bath disc. i looked on Bath BMD as well in case it was a bit later than you thought.
