Is there any reason why yuo are unable to search for this marriage yourself? Try the following.....it's free (omit brackets) http://www.ancestry(.)co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=8965 Reg

ErikaH

ErikaH Report 1 Apr 2006 22:41

On the original thread, I explained that the image showed James as aged 5 years, and Thomas as 18months............ The 'mths' was just badly aligned............ Reg

G83 Report 1 Apr 2006 22:41

Ozi not for same people i think that was James and Ann nee banks?! All the James's seem to like ladies called Ann.

G83

G83 Report 1 Apr 2006 22:39

Oh right so when you clicked the image it states James son as being 5months? It cant be right then as you say James the son in my tree born 1864 would make him 5 ish around 1871.

Jess Bow Bag

Jess Bow Bag Report 1 Apr 2006 22:38

then REG didnt look at the actual image - i know she wont mind me saying that . i've just used what Reg posted to look at it if yours was born 1864 then this is not the right lot at all

G83

G83 Report 1 Apr 2006 22:36

Hi jess reg put the cenus info above from 1871 it states James son born 1865? Not sure if you have seen that?

Jess Bow Bag

Jess Bow Bag Report 1 Apr 2006 22:33

but............... the james Pickett (jnr ) on the 1871 has a father that is a wood chopper and is 5 MONTHS old not 5 years! so either that birth cert is for another family, not this one at all

G83

G83 Report 1 Apr 2006 22:18

Hi, James' birth cert. (1864) shows his father as James, occupation: general hawker and his mother as Ann formerly Taylor. 17/10/1864 birth date born St George Southwark I am awaiting copy of cert which will be here monday so dont know the actual address at birth but the above is all correct stated info on there.

Jess Bow Bag

Jess Bow Bag Report 1 Apr 2006 22:17

G83

G83 Report 1 Apr 2006 22:12

Jess Bow Bag

Jess Bow Bag Report 1 Apr 2006 22:11

ErikaH Report 1 Apr 2006 22:11

Based purely on age and birthplace, this might be Ann in 1861........if the marriage is ever found, the cert will confirm Ann Taylor abt 1842 Southwark, Surrey, England Daughter Stepney Middlesex View Record Jonathan Taylor abt 1816 Exeter, Devon, England Head Stepney Middlesex View Record Lucy Taylor abt 1813 Littlehay, Staffordshire, England Wife Stepney Middlesex Ann Miles abt 1803 Littlehay, Staffordshire, England Sister-in-law Stepney Middlesex Reg
