I think it's a great idea.... You can count me in. Elaine gave me some great advice. I'm new to all this & she was the first person to help me. Unfortunately this was just the week before she left. Luckily for me she introduced me to Isobel, who I have to say has been fantastic, but without Elaines advice, I would probably be still in the dark! I bet loads of people would be willing to help, return the favour to Elaine, if you like. After all it is for a good cause. And what's the saying... I can't quite think of it now, something to do with a favour for a favour!?!... You know what I mean. Every little bit helps & I'm sure Elaine would be thrilled with any support. Go for it & count me in! Claire x

Hi Isabel, I know myself that although I have been searching for my family for about a year now, I still need help like many other people and Elaine has helped all of us at some time or another. I think there would be support but the only way of finding out is to put a message on the boards asking people if they would like to donate something to this good cause/project Elaine is doing. As I said before we would also have to check with Elaine!! Betty

Hi Isabel, I just thought maybe Elaine will be setting up some sort of bank account for this money to go into. There must be some way maybe we could get our debit or credit cards to pay into the account Elaine has set up for the Fund. Does this sound ok to you. We would have to check with Elaine on this of course and then post a message to everyone to see if they would be interested. Betty

Hi Isobel, Thanks for taking that message from Elaine for me. I just thought of an idea to help Elaine with the fund raising. Why don't we ( people on the message boards) give £1 each or more if you like) to help Elaine, I am sure most people wont mind doing this after all the help they have had from Elaine with lookups. What do you all think??? Betty
