It could just be that if she was a servant, she was just missed off the census, because her employer 'forgot' about her. Kath. x

Clara as far as I know she didn't have a middle name, she was domestic servant on marriage certificate and the Thomas and Harriet had a Frances or Fanny cooper living with them as a Mother

I know on marriage certificate he was living in 4b Durban Rd Smethwick and she was in Edgebaston

The wittnesses are William Henry Eaves and Kate Louise Eaves the people had my grandad living with them Thanks Kathleen but when she got marrried in 1902 she was 22yrs old and 40yrs old when she died in 1920

This is the only Clara Cooper described as boarder on the 1901 census.
