Thanks for your offer - Could you check a baptism, again in King Somborne, of a William Rumble b 31 March 1817, father´s name is Thomas Rumble - hope it will tell me name of mother. Am also looking for a marriage of Thomas Rumble, c1816 / 1817 - to the mother of William above - perhaps you could try parish of King Somborne for this. Very many thanks, Elaine

Hi Lorraine, Thankyou for your kind offer... If I'm not too late for a request, could you look for the following?... Baptism for William Pannell, Bn 1789 Buriton/Weston. I would like to know the name of his mother. Marraige between William Pannell and Jane ? c 1826, both born in Buriton/Weston. Their 1st child was born in 1827. I'm hoping to find Jane's maiden name. Hi Lorraine, If you are looking at records of St Mary's in Portsea, at all, and have the time could you see if you can find a marriage for me John Frederick Goodfellow & Leah (Arched/Archea/Archer) - they were married on 19th October, 1834. Thanks heaps Laurie

Kings Somborne: Thomas Rumbold, widower of this parish to Eliza Phillips spinster of this parish. Married in church by banns 24 June 1823. Vicar Richard Taylor. Witnesses William Rufsell and Rachel Turton. Mary Rumble married John Holloway 2 Dec 1830. Sarah Rumble married James Martin 8 Sept 1831. Marriages checked 1813-1832. Bpt No 161 dec 17th 1817 William son of George and Mary Rumbold from Up Somborne. Labourer. Bpt 5 oct 1823 Henry son of Thomas and Eliza Rumbold. Living at the Brook in this parish. Labourer. Baptisms 1813-1827 checked. Bpt 24 Jan 1830 Henry son of Thomas and Sarah Rumble. Thomas Labourer. Bpt 14 Mar 1830 Elizabeth Rumble daughter of George and Elizabeth Rumble from Little Somborne. Labourer. Bpt 26 Dec 1830 Miriam daughter of Thomas and Louisa Rumbold. No 583. Bpt no 640 19 Feb 1832 Walter son of George and Mary Rumble. Bpt no 647 22 Apr 1832 Mary daughter Thomas and sarah Rumbold. Bpt No 700 21 Jul 1833 George son of Thomas and Elizabeth Rumble. Bpt No 768 17 May 1835, Sally daughter of Thomas and sarah Rumble. Bpt No 826 20 Nov 1836 Maria daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Rumble. Bpt No 865 4 March 1838 Benjamin son of Thomas and sally Rumble. Bpt no 917 29 Sept 1839 William son of Thomas and Elizabeth Rumble. Bpt records checked 1827-1839. Have included Rumbold due to dialect differences. Dates don't seem to tie up, maybe you can make some sense of it all. Regards Lorraine.

Bpt No 472 8 April 1821 George son of William and Louisa rann, living near the Beaulieu rails. Labourer. Baptism of Mary Ann Beamen, tried Sopley and Beaulieu and south stoneham 1815-1822. FI AND LILLY: checked Hartley Witney parish records, marriages 1913-1923. No record found. I also checked to see if there were any other churches in Hartley Wintney but there was nothing. Is this the marriage registration district which would mean the marriage could have taken place in any of the neighbouring villages? Sorry I did not find the records you requested. Michele Snewin: I have checked the Petersfield marriages 1836-1838. I can find no record for this marriage. If this is the registration district perhaps the marriage took place in a neighbouring village. Sorry I could not help with this one. Regards Lorraine.
