If ancestry has passenger lists for ships, could you look up William & Sarah Holyoak, who emigrated to Buchanan, Missouri, USA in 1850. They were originally from Priors Hardwick, Warks. Thankyou!

Holly don't know if you can help. Grandfather Dan Clarke died 1938 aged 52 in Horncastle. Married Ada Clark early 1900s. Cannot trace birth date or place for him or Ada. She was born in 1876 but where? Witnesses at their wedding Albert Clark and Edith Clark. Again no records? Fathers William Clarke, farmer and Thomas Clark, retired policeman, residing at Prospect Street, Horncastle and Elmhirst Road Horncastle respectively. But again no further ecords that I can find. The trail on my grandather Dan, the baker, lived and worked at 28 South Street Horncastle from early 1900s. Not listed at that address on the 1901 census although Ada is, as a boarder. My father's birth certificate shows that address as their residence in 1913. Don't mind doing the leg work myself but I just keep drawing blanks now.

Hi Holly, Thanks again for the previous image. This time I have little information. I have a marriage certificate for a marriage in 1842 at St Luke Middlesex. I am looking for any info on the parents. Father of Groom (George Roberts) listed as William Roberts - Carver and Gilder, George was born in Newington Surrey abt 1819. Father of Bride (Mary Boulter) listed as Samuel Boulter - Carpenter. Mary was born abt 1820 in Cowley Oxon but I suspect that the family moved to the St Luke area. I would be very grateful if you could check the 1851 Census for any information. Best regards Mike

Hi Holly, I need some help. My great, great, great grandfather was called Samuel Govier born 1837 in Bideford, Devon (or Parkham, same place). His father was called James Govier. I don't much about his past. I can't seem to find anything on him the nearest I have found is Samuel Glover born 1837, Parkham, father called James Glover. I have my doubts this could be him because it is quite a change from Govier to Glover. I'm just wondering if you can help at all. Many thanks, Fern.
