Find Ancestors

If anybody can find them in 1901i would everso grateful.... The only family i can find is the Jonathan Rackham family. Sue

Jess, I orginaly wanted to trace Charles but no luck,I have my linage from now back to Arthur William Rackham 1857,Tofts Monk.I also have the marraige for 2 of his siblings.I just wanted to find out who his siblings married.At the end of the month i am going to order the marraige cert for John and Mary ann.I already have Arthurs birth cert.Cant find any of the family in 1901 except the ones that have got married. susan...can we sort of draw a line under what we have found here and start again going the other way? ie start from the one you want to trace from 1901 backwards? Jess

No i dont think so,unless all the other children have disappeared.You can trace the Jonathan Rackham family back,They are found on the 1861 cencus in Tofts Monk.And so is my John Rackham found living in Tofts Monk.His place of birth in 1861 is given as Thurlton instead of Oulton. Sue

Yes definatly.... My tree starts with Mary anne and John Rackham .I have traced my ancestors back to them via one of there sons Arthur Rackham born 1857. I do know there is another Mary Anne married to a Jonathon Rackham in later census. Dont know if it is any relation though.. cheers Sue

Susan Are you really sure what you found in 1891 is your family ! As I said earlier there seems to be 2 VERY similar families.- which makes things very confusing. The only one i can find on the 1881 is George born 1855,who by this time was married and living in Kirby Cane. Sue
