Hi cannot find Thomas and family in the 1891 england census so will go back to search for Francis and Michael in 1881.

Hi justine i just found this on family search a marriage for Philip McLaughlin and Harriet Hill on 25 December 1874 at St Nicholas liverpool, his brother thomas also got married there. Do you think he could have been married twice, maybe she died and he remarried? Stephanie.

Sorry justine if i am rushing you. Thomas was born in 1857 i know that for a fact but that could vary on census' Just for info he married in 1879 to Mary McLaughlin nee. Drumm. Thanks for researching, i will e-mail you my address in a mo. It doesn't look like michael or frances have any middle names frances' maiden name was McCormick. Hope this helps.
