Hi I have a Frederick Rosier Mitchell as the father of Frederick William Mitchell on a marriage certificate. His occupation is down as Gentleman. I have found the death of a Frederick Rosier Mitchell in March 1909 age 64. This would make his birth 1845 which fits in with what we know. His son F W Mitchell was born in 1870. However i cannot seem to find any other trace of F R Mitchell. I am looking for a marriage or record of his birth. I think it may be the Colchester area. Can anyone help? Karen

Frederick William Mitchell married a Maria Welham 1891ish (my dad has certificate) in colchester. They had children 1893,1896,1897. Have found Maria in 1901 but not F W but believe he was a soldier 61/61 Norfolk Reg on marriage cert. But cannot find F R Mitchell - most of the people i have on this side seem to come from colchester Karen
