I have a few credits left which are about to expire for the London 1851 name index. (see www*thegenealogist*co*uk...obviously change * to .) It will not give you the address, but will give you a folio number and a s&n cd page number. You will then be able to request a look up from someone who has the discs. For some reason I haven't found many of mine, but hopefully I will be able to help some of you. Please give as much information as possible - ie wife's, children's name, ages etc. Sarah

Hello Sarah, Can you have a look please for John Hall, born abt 1831 in Whitechapel, occupation probably a butcher. Also Mary Ann Schofield or Mary Ann Hall, born about 1831 in Brighton, Sussex. HI Sarah, Many thanks for looking, I seem to be cursed with the name John Hall. There are so many he might as well be named Smith! With regards to the Schofield hits, is the place after the name the place of birth or their residence? Thanks for looking for John & Lavinia. I have now been told that their name has got an 'e' at the end on some records, can I smile extra sweetly and ask for another bash............ Simon

Hi Jenny With Thomas Andrews 41 pages came up for born in 1810, so that one a no go ( I can't see occupations,nor place of birth). With Membrey neither William nor Hannah came up. Sarah

Hi Simon The area I give you is the place of residence, I can't see where anyone was born. With Coote The only one feasable is John Charles Coote, 29, Shoreditch, Holywell, H1071533 page 227, he lives on his own. I did a search for Lav Coote, but with nil results. Sarah
