Hi Natalie, Can you find a John Nicol for me please. I know he was born Clyde College, Largs. His child was born in 1894 so I am assuming he was born around 1870. Many thanks Julie |

Hi Natalie, Thanks for the info. I am not sure where it is either. I will get hubby to look at the list tomorrow and he can hopefully put me straight. I remember asking once which county Glasgow came under? The reply I got was ' what part of Glasgow'. It can be really confusing and I have lived there for ten years on and off. Thanks again Julie. |

Eliza, Hope you got my second message as GR are playing up !!! If not I will post it here. Will index reads, Paterson, John, 17/12/1866, plumber in Heddington, Edinburgh Sheriff Court Wills, ref no. SC70/4/107 Cannot access the will with my credits sorry. Hope you can get to it with some kind person visiting the RO as it should be interseting - 11 pages long!! Natalia |
