Hi Katrina, any chance of finding the following on 1851 Lancashire. Joseph Stanworth (born abt 1829), he would probably be with his wife Ann and living in Briercliffe, Lancashire. I am presuming he was married by then but that isn't definite. Hope you can find them if not thanks for looking Gloria xx

Hi Katrina, Are you still doing look ups if you have the time I would be grateful for one. I don't know if you can help a kind lady Barbara spent ages looking for this family but couldn't find them. Though thinking about it I did put Meadows and they could be just Meadow at the time don't know if it made any difference. they are. James b 1791 and wife Margaret children William 1826 / Ann 1828 / James 1830 / Thomas 1833 / Margaret 1835 / Elizabeth 1836. All these were Christened at St. Cuthberts. Church Town North Meols. states Churchtown as place of birth also Richard b 1798 and his wife Ann. IGI states Ormskirk (James brother) In 186I have Richard and wife in Euxton. Thomas in Thornbury ( by 1871 they were living together in Thornton ( Fylde). Margaret I think was in gaol in Kirkdale. In 1871 she was married in Fleetwood. I can't find any of the rest of the family in 1861 or after. I have this gut feeling that James and Margaret died but don't know where any of them where in 1851. I guess they would be in the North Meols Ormskirk Liverpool area. I have looked at the library in 1851 at the North Meols but couldn't seem to find them. any help would be gratefully received. thanking you for your time. Germaine

Hello Katrina, This one's a bit vague so please don't spend too much time on it, but I'd appreciate a quick look. William Lamb (would be aged 46 in '51) gardener, born Knutsford, Cheshire; wife Jane (53) weaver, Derbyshire; nine children born from 1828-41. May possibly have been living in Pendleton in 1841 and 1851 - they were in Salford's Timothy Street in 1861, but don't think they were there 10 years earlier. Many thanks, Gordon.

Hello - my wife Emma has a whole stack of Liverpoll relatives and wonder if you can see if you find any trace of them? The first one is Francis GUNDERSON from Ireland b circa 1841 so would have been about 10. His Fathers name was Thomas and he may have had a brother called Issac. In Liverpool in the 1860s so any trace in Liverpool in 1851 would be helpful. The second one is Thomas and Ellen SINGLETON b circa 1819 so would have been 30+ in 1851 - known children Richard c 1841, Elizabeht c 1845 and Rosina c 1849. From Liverpool. The third is William WHALLEY b circa 1797 believed to have been in Liverpool. he was a bricklayer. Kindest Regards Ed

I am trying to find information on my gr gr gr grandmother, Hannah Barwise (nee Jackson) who would have been between 55 and 60 in 1851. Her husband, John, had died in 1840 and she would have been living in Wigton, Cumberland, I believe. Also her children, John and Hetherington (who I believe was a chemist/druggist), would have been between 40 and 55. If you can find anything it would be greatly appreciated! Robyn
