Dear Sally, This is a long shot but could you please see if you have a Walter Mason, liveing in ipswich, wifes name Eliza (dont no if he was married yet?/ thank you, regards Joan .

Karen sorry Oxon not on my cd. ---- Joan have looked at 1861 census and the are 3 walter mason's living in ipswich i.e. 1845 s.i.l. born weybred suffolk 1853 son born brandon suffolk and 1848 son born ipswich all living there. can I help you with any of these??

karen, Sorry I did not read your message properly 1851 The only George Hyde I could find born Oxon living warwickshire Henry Hyde 41 wertall oxon ann wife 46 broughton oxon george son 10 ' ' there is a older hyde born 1796 but not george.

Morning Sal, thanks for that,the only thing i have got on Walter Mason that in 1868 he was living in cross st Ipswich. he was a foundry Laborer,and he was married to Eliza,so any 3 of them could be him ,couldnt thay??? Joanx

Many thanks for that info. I wondered if the Selbys are clutched in an area please. Although my Elizabeth was born 1741, people werent that transient then and these may be her family so I would be grateful if you could give the area they are living in so I can yet again trawl the parish records for Edward Horstead and Elizabeth Selby marrying circa 1764. Hi Sally could you look on 1851 Devon census for following Charles Venus c1814 Head Maria Venus c1819 wife Children approx age in 1851 Sarah A Venus 11yrs Charles Venus 6yr Alfred Venus 4yr Emily Venus 2yrs Emily was born in Teignmouth and the next child was born in Shaldon 1853 so they could be anywhere in that area. Another spellings of surname Venns/Veness Thank you Cherry

Hi Sally, Since I last posted my Slynn lookup request: 'George Slynn b1814 Birmingham Sarah wife b Edgbaston? Francis George (or just George) son b1837 Birmingham Thomas b1839 Birmingham. Slynn has sometimes been entered as Slinn, Slim, Slym, Slyme, Shun!!' I have now found an address on a marriage cert for 1841: Bow Street, Birmingham. The church was St Martin's if that any help? Sally, Thank you for your kind offer, please could look for 1851 Warks Samuel Taylor - 1822 Sarah 1826 Samuel 1850 I have them in 1861 living in Aston Birmingham, so I think they should be in that area. Samuel was a Pearl button turner. Many thanks. Pat

Hi Sally, I previously asked you for a lookup listed below:- could you have a look for George Hyde please, here's what I have so far--his possible dob changes on the 1861 & 1871:- 1891 census-George Hyde, 60,Westwell, Oxfordshire, Oxon ,Head,M. employed occ waggoner horse, living schedule 5,Fulbroke Rd, Warwickshire. 1881 census- George Hyde Head, M. male 50, b Westell, Oxford, England. occ Carter (...),living Fullbrook, Fulbrook, Warwick, england. 1871 census George Hyde 40, Westels, Oxfordshire, England. Head, Hampton Lucy, Warwickshire. 1861 census George Hyde abt 1825 36yrs Westalls, Oxon, servant Unm, occ Carter. living schedule 109, Sherbourne Hill, Fulbrook. susan. found one burches but, that was norfolk. found under burch living dawlish 14 but, if this is what you are looking for no problem to list them. please confirm.
