Hi Glen I wonder if you could help me I am trying to tie together three people and not getting anywhere. I am looking for a James Renwick b c1832 Gateshead or Newcastle father Richard Renwick mother formerly Lisle. What information I have is all contridictory. I have Richard Renwick m Margaret Boulton 1826 Newcastle. A son James b to above parents 1832 Gateshead. Richard Renwick m Elizabeth Lisle 1835 Newcastle. 1851 Census James Renwick Grandson age 19 Living with Grandparents George and Joan Lisle Newcastle. Have included all the above so as not to waste your time with these. Cannot find a James b to Elizabeth and Richard, would probably be to young in any case. No luck with requests for 1841 census and do not seem to be able to trace Richard with either wife 1851 census. Can you find any other Richard Renwick a chainmaker m to a ??Lisle with a son James b about 1832 in Northumberland or Durham area. Or whether Richard was a widower when he married Elizabeth. Though so far no trace of her death of course before 1837. Would be grateful for any information. maureen

Hi Glen Could look for these please: Am trying to find my mother's family ancestry. Her father was John Edgar Hepburn dob 27/6/1884 in Whinny Park Place, Parkhead, Glasgow to James Hepburn (Mercantile Clerk) and Janet (nee Gibb) married in Glasgow 21/10/1881. Any info on them would be much appreciated. Also: Paul Stewart Wilkie (mother's Stepfather) born c1894 possibly in Balfron to Hugh Wilkie (watchmaker & Jeweller)and Jane (nee Paul). Any info at all. And: Thanks to help from another kind member I have found that I have a Margaret M. Arthur who would have been a gggAunt on my maternal side. She partnered Thomas Gray and was born in Ireland around 1832. On 1881 Census for Blantyre, Scotland she is listed as being 49, but on 1871 is listed as being 35 years, with a daughter, by Thomas, who is aged 15 years. Any help would be great.

Hello Glen Thank you for your kind offer. I would be extremely grateful if you could find out anything about my gt grandfather and family. JAMES POLLARD, his parents were JOSEPH POLLARD & MARGARET (LAWLESS). James was born in Dublin. On his marriage cert. 1913 He was 'Full age' and living in Lower Dominic Street, Dublin. I know he had a sister Alice Pollard who emigrated to America 1906. I would love to know how old he was so I can order a birth certificate and if he had any other siblings. Also anything about his parents. JAMES POLLARD married EMILY BRADY also from Dublin, living at the same address in 1913. I only know her father's name...MICHAEL BRADY. A BRIGID BRADY was my nan's godmother in 1916. (They were catholics by the way) Have looked on LDS IGI, but loads of Michael Bradys in Dublin and Joseph Pollards. It's a tall order I know, but if you can find out anything more than the info above, my mum would be over the moon! Kind Regards...Laura
