My ggrandparents first 3 children all died before they were a year old so not impossible. Not sure what coverage is like for Yorkshire on the BVRI discs but will have a look tomorrow for any Carlton baptisms unless someone has already done that for you. Zoe You'll probably find out that he was called George Edward and just didn't like his name so decided to choose something less common! Sorry....that probably doesn't make you feel much better! Lou
