Managed to register and get in ... and do a free search. Didn't think much of how it displayed the results on screen ... and it seemed to scramble dates ... sure it will end up being very useful, but might leave it to bed in for a few weeks! S:>

Tracey,Hi! I've tried that web addres and it just says page unavailable!Any ideas?

CelticShiv

CelticShiv Report 16 Jan 2005 22:17

I believe it will be just the index the same as you get at the family records centre (so not the actual certificate). It will be better than other websites offering this service because it is full name searchable. 1837 online also offers full name searches now, but you cannot guarantee the person you are looking for will on the pages. with familyrelatives you can. regards, Siobhan

Well I got in OK - what a confusing way to display the results. Took me a while to work out that it was giving names of the first and last people on each page. Is this going to work out any cheaper than 1837online - anyone know?

Steve

Steve Report 17 Jan 2005 11:40
