Jane, No joy, I'm afraid. I found 68 Jane Wilsons born between 1841 and 1844 but none had a father called Richard nor a mother called Jane Buchanan. I couldn't find any marriages for Richard Wilson to a Buchanan or for Jane Buchanan to a Wilson in the years 1820 to 1844. |

trying to find a william boyd b. 1809 abt in glasgow maried in glasgow in 1833 to a janet docherty. I have no other info on this family. also I am trying to locate a William Gray (grey) matheson b. abt june 1826 in midlothian married a mary laidlaw hay in september 1852 in Canongate Scroll Reg, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland and Barony, Lanark, Scotland. all I know is the father is a william mother unknown. also if possible a census lookup for a George Ord Houliston b. 1801 in east lothian. he was in dorset england, but has vanished so presume he may have gone back to his homeland scotland. thankyou |

Sheila, I'm afraid I can't find any Weatherland births/christenings on the OPR for 1840 to 1850. Tried a few spelling variations but still no joy. |

Are you sure he didn't die before then? I tried for ages 60 to 90 and several different spellings but no joy. |
