Many thanks for your offer. I am looking for Isaac Vanham, born in North Lopham in 1825 he was in Kenninghall in 1851 - no idea where he was in 1841, but probably in Illington in 1861. Be thrilled if you found him and his family. Yvonne

Hello Yvonne I have whom I hope is your Isaac in Illington 1861 (I only feel suspicious as birth place is down as Banham but then again Banham is practically on N Lopham doorstep) if you can let me know your email I will send the image. However I have searched N Lopham - Kenninghall and Banham in 1841 but cannot see him - that said there are quite a few pages that are just impossible to read. Teresa

Hi Theresa, I wonder if you would be kind enough to look for Elizabeth AGAR in 1841. She was born in 1837 possibly in North Walsham. Many thanks. Von

Unknown Report 15 Oct 2004 15:39

Hi Yvonne I have searched North Walsham 1841 and not even one person with the name Agar - there were 2 couples with the name Algar but neither had a daughter. Can you suggest anywhere else to look Teresa

~Von~

~Von~ Report 15 Oct 2004 15:46

Hi Theresa, Would you mind looking on the 1861 please. There might be an Amy Agar (born 1847) on that one, again North Walsham. I can't think of anywhere else to look at the moment. It's possible they were ag. labs and travelled around. Many thanks Von

Hi Yvonne this is a puzzler. I checked 1851 for your family you probably have them already but maybe you could confirm its the right one. In all records the name is spelt either Algar or Alger I can find no Agars - I have the images from 1841 and 1861 if you would like to see for yourself Regards Teresa

Hello Kathy this is a bit tricky They are certainly NOT in Mutford the town - BUT Mutford is also a registration district so covers a very large area. 1871 gives her birth place as Gt Yarmouth if you think this may be where she is I could look but it is a very large search to do if there is only a remote possibility. As Cassandra and her sibblings are not with their parents but an aunt and uncle in 1871 do you know where the parents were? and is it possible this is your Cassandra smith in 1851 Head: SMITH, Frederick Neighbors 235282 Name Relationship Mar Age Sex Occupation Birthplace Frederick SMITH Head M 54 M Agent to the British Alkali Compy Wandsworth-SUR Elizabeth SMITH Wife M 45 F --- Ilford-ESS Cassandra SMITH Daur U 21 F --- Lambeth-SUR Elizabeth SMITH Daur U 19 F --- Lambeth-SUR Fanny SMITH Daur U 17 F --- Bromsgrove-WOR David SMITH Son U 15 M --- Bromsgrove-WOR Alfred SMITH Son - 12 M Scholar Bromsgrove-WOR George SMITH Son - 8 M Scholar Birmm-WAR Emma SMITH Daur - 5 F Scholar Birmm-WAR Hannah EBURN Serv U 23 F General Servant Birmm-WAR Address: Bristol Road Eastnor Terrace, --- Census Place: Edgbaston Kings Norton, Warwickshire PRO Reference: HO/107/2049 Folio: 93 Page: 18 FHL Film: 0087459 Let me know if you wish me to look at Yarmouth I will be able to do it in the morning if so Teresa
