Hi Kal How lovely to hear from you again. Are you and Susie in cahouts??to keep me out of trouble. I have had a quick look on the 1871 index for Oxon and there are LOADS of Hitchmans scattered all over the county,do you want them all checked to see if they were born in Bloxham OR do you just want the ones living in Bloxham at the time of the census. By the way I received the revised version of the 1851 but could not find the guys you were looking for. Mary

Hi Susie I have checked Hambledon on 1871 and cannot find the Broadways,I checked on 1881 for the address and double checked that as well on 1871 still no sign. Also checked a couple more villages very close to Hambledon and a big fat ZERO.Where the blue blazes can they be?? I thought it would be easy as you had so much info on them but as Owen says in the Vicar of Dibley " b***er me where can they be?? Cheers Mary

Hi Mary, Just a long shot really. I have a Gaden family (could be spelt differently) not found them yet in 1871. Amos Gaden b.1851. Others in house would include, Rhoda Ruth and Timothy, Joel. Might come under Warks. But asking just in case. Thanks Diane
