Hi Sally, Is the disc part of the census. Would it contain the pages for Sheffield? If you decide to break the seal I would appreciate the image of the following ref number 2337, 373B which is South St. Sheffield. I am looking for the image of the BINNS family if you can manage it. BUT I have the names of all the family members so I wouldn't want you to open it specially for me!! I am interesting in having a look at the image to check the birthplace of Jemima, the mother of the family, which I have as Rowson. Sally, thanks but this lookup is no longer needed. Thanks to Marian and Russell for their very kind help. Sally, I have emailed you directly. Good luck to all. Many thanks. Kathy

Hi Sally Thank you for your generous offer. If you do break the seal would you please look for Joseph Cordingley living in the Bradford area. He was born Shipley in 1828/29 so he would be about 22/23. He was a plasterer by trade. I know he wasn't livimg with his wife and children at the time I have found them livimg with her father in 1851 and by 1861 Joseph is living with them. Thank you again for your generous offer. Kindest regards Ann

If your not sure which "Riding" a place is in go here http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/Misc/Where/index.html Find your place in the box and it will show W, N or E Riding. A is for York the County capital which is not part of any Riding so may or may not be on any disk. Bob
