Hi Hugh Could you please look up William Tate and Sarah Jane Tate. They married in Burton Upon Stather in 1860 and then went to Missouri. Do not know exactly when. I have a birth of their first child as 9th Sept 1862 in Missouri. Unfortunately i have the same birth for her in Flixborough Lincs England. Sarah Jane was born in Burton Upon Stather in 26 Nov 1838 and William was born in Flixborough about 1832. I have a death for him as 2 April 1897 in Missouri. If you could find them it would help to clear up whether they stayed in England as i think or whether they did go to America. Thanks very much for your help. Jane

Hi Hugh: Thank you for the offer. I've only tried a bit of research for my husband's side. Would there be an Albert Lafayette Jones who possibly was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and lived in Memphis, Tennessee (married Martha Vogel). Approximate date of birth would have been 1890. Thank you, Hugh.

Hi Hugh, would it be possible for you to look for my Grandfather Charles Lee Audette born 6th May 1887 in Lachute.Quebec.Canada. I can't find any trace of him anywhere and don't know his parents names either. I do know he joined the American Mercantile Marines, shipping horses overseas and ended up in UK where he joined the Army. Any help would be great as I've hit a massive brick wall. Sue

Hugh--I'm not sure which censuses you have but I want to find out more about my father's family. He was Andrew John Greenwood and was born in 1929 in Waterbury Conn. His father was Andrew Greenwood born in 1911.I'm not sure of his mother's name or siblings so maybe the 1920 or 1930 census would help.Thanks.
