Rosemary - For some reason, the 4 Mortimer divorce refs in 1882 were all for the same document. No first name is given, so I can't be sure that it's Joseph. Patricia You're in luck! There's a reference to the will of Jane Benn, Whitehaven 1843. Send me your email and I'll send you the image. There's no Benn wills between 1852 and 1862, so no luck with Isabella. The records only go back to 1796, so Anthony was outside the timeframe of these records also.

Jane Benn, widow, Whitehaven - 10/7/1843 Anthony Benn, Yeoman, St Bees 22/9/1660 Isabella Benn died after 1851 but before 1863 cumberland, possibly St Bees/Egremont Your help would be much appreciated. She Married an Alfred (maybe Arthur) Richard Parkes in about 1920ish. Or if she is on the Death Reg' Any help with this brickwall (1 of many at the moment) would be very appreciated. Jennifer There are several William Clark's listed for 1860. Unfortunately the list doesn't show their place of residence, so I'm not sure how one can tell which (if any) is the correct William Clark. Anyway, I've downloaded the images so send me your email address and I'll forward them on. Note: the images are in djvu format (the same as on 1837online). You therefore need the djvu program to view them, this is available for free if you don't already have it. Richard

Hello Richard: looking for marriage between ISABELLA REID and JAMES CLIFFORD maybe around 1830-1855. Hope that helps, have no other info. May have been in Lancashire but not sure. I know they had a daughter, Isabella born May 16, 1855 and lived in Toxteth Park, W.Derby at the time. Thanks for any help. Betty.
