Hi Louise Thanks for the offer. I'm looking for a Matthew & Hannah Acomb, with daughter Isabella (b 1846 Tockwith). Both parents would be about 40 years old. By 1871 Hannah was shown as a widow, and resident in York. Matthew was a farmer. No other info I'm afraid, other than Matthew was resident in Marston at the time of marriage in 1844. Any help appreciated. Regards Pauline

Hi Could you possibly find out anything about William Hamilton born about 1827 in Hull. He was a mariner by the time his daughter, Ann, married in 1874. He married a Susan/Susannah (who could have been 9 years older than him) and Ann was born about 1847 but i haven't been able to definitely track her exact date of birth down. In teh 1881 census his name was spelt Hamleton, but i think this was spelt wrongly. Thanks in anticipation.
