No, it is not a wind up but a genuine entry. I should think the enumertor was sacked. I am tracing a Goodman line but unfortunately, not this one.otherwise I would at least be famous, if not rich. I wonder what LDS thought when transcribing?

Lets not get too picky! It could have been a genuine mistake?

CelticShiv

CelticShiv Report 2 Dec 2003 19:14

the James Goodman age 12 is not necessarily Cecil's son though, as he is the son of the HEAD of the household not the wife. Also the age of James could be a transcription error. Still the whole household is very funny!!!!

Thanks for the giggle. Must say, they must of been well and truely pampered - all those servants...!?!? The house must of been massive or a case of loads of bunk beds...?!?! Dawn

Hi all That is so funny how on earth have they got away with putting all that on a census Is this on the original handwritten one or is this just somebody messing on the LDS site I wonder how many more there are !!! happy hunting Jan x

Kathleen

Kathleen Report 2 Dec 2003 20:23

Must be somebody messing around on the LDS site - or one of the transcribers getting bored. Click on the File No. it is just a blank page. Gave me a laugh anyway. Kathleen
