Claire, Donna in Italy and myself in Aus have both looked at this very faded entry. We cross referenced other Walton entries in Grimsby in 1881 and think this is the 1861 entry( ref RG9/2389/62,pg29): Thomas Walton ,head,mar,32,labourer, b Knottingly,Yorkshire Caterine ,wife,27,b Grimsby Sarah Ann,13(all children b Grimsby) Mary Jane,11 William,8 Isaac ,6 George,5 John,3 Thomas,1 Contact Donna direct if you want a copy to try to figure it out yourself

John re 'Fletchers' in Luddington Donna has asked me to look at this.Did you get any response to your 1841 query on another thread? If you did, that data would help( there are a couple of Fletcher families in 41-I remember looking at the time you posted the other message) Luddington isn't in the 1861 place index, so we will have to go back to 41 to find which parish data to look at. Margaret

Please look at the date of the last posting before yours...........if you want a lookup, it would be better to start a thread of your own.

This one should never have been resurrected.........
