Hi Jane I was born Yorks and moved around the Midlands and still use the word Mardy I dont know what the apology is about, and wont get involved. But Hey Dont pull yourself down too much, as their are always others that will... Joan |

Jane, you are very sweet, thank you. I didn't intend to upset anybody, and am glad that everything is all sorted out. I'm from the south, but I understood mardy. What I call "mumpish" I believe, though perhaps a bit stronger. So glad you will continue to use GC Boards, look forward to helping you if I possibly can. Jan. |

Jane you are obviously from up North somewhere, as I havent heard the word Mardy for ages. I lot of people will wonder what it means, I will let you explain, as Im not very good at it. I wonder if anyone else have regional dilect words to talk about , and their meaning .. Joan |
