I am thinking there must be more children between Mary Ann and Henry.. the family seemed to flip between Chichester and Portsmouth... are they on the 1851 census?? Or am I pushing it?

Joanne, Not all that unusual. Depends on who was giving the information, and what they knew! Also depends how the question was asked, and how it was understood. 'Where are you from?' could very easily be intepreted as where did you last live!!!!! Sylvia
