	The one we found in 1851 (see above) looks a bit too young. Many people were unsure of their exact age in those days but the difference here seems too big. There is no other James Chowney in the 1851 census but that does not mean he did not exist, just that he missed the census for some reason, or his name may have been mistranscribed.

Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 100 Send Message	i have been searching all day but am haveing great dificulty, james chowney convicted of shooting to ressist arrest, trial in kingston upon thames , sent to botany bay in aug 1858, it says that he was married with a child but cant find any info on them at all and i cant find anything for james parents and siblings can anyone help please.
