I have my grandfathers birth certificate and would like to trace if possible his parents...My grandfather was born 29 11 1890 at 180 Goswell rd. Holborn London. His father was Henry Oxley....Plumber Master,,,Mother Martha Oxley fomerly Spence..Their address is 180 Goswell Rd same place of birth.... On 1891 census there is H.Oxley of B/green could be Father...Can anybody help....

maybe martha was the second wife and the older children annie and daisy were from this marriage

different profession at the time but in the cripplegate area of london where 1891 census says annie was born

My mother told me her father was born in Holborn in 1890 No other match for Oxley Linda

Is that why you have him on here as

Sorry to confuse Julie. In the week I found that the Henry I had on ny tree was not him. Someone foundmy Grandad in the week and didn't change my tree. Thanks for your help.

All im saying is being that Henrys marriage hasn't been found so a birth year not comfirmed you can't be 100% that it's the right one.
