Possible that the Evans are related to the Gittins in some way as Welshpool is really some place but unsure.

If she was not married, there will be no father's name on the birth certificate.


Also, distrust a father's name that is put on the marriage certificate in such cases.

It is quite common to find made-up names, grandfather's name, or some such put in place of the "father's" name on a marriage certificate!

Even an occupation will be made up!


All to do with the "stigma" of being without a father.

I ahve suggested to the other Matthew that one of you changes your board name so that WE, your helpers, know that we are not delaing with duplicate or triplicate threads put up by the same person.
