I am looking for a marriage in Sussex, probably in the Petworth area.

William Knight to Elizabeth ??
Their first child, that I know of, was baptised at Petworth in 1815.

Thomas Reed and Joan Barker, probably Heathfield East Sussex abt 1640-1646. Thanks.

also
Stephen Stredwick marrying a Sarah? in Heathfield. be about 1780-1786.

Thanks for the info on Lyndall Gregory, would you mind seeing if you can find his wife death Mary born yeovil somerset abt 1859 she was on the 1901 cen.

I agree the Cuckfield marriage is not a likely match.

Thanks Jen, I think it can't be the correct Robert.
Mary was his daughter and he would have been older than 21 now.
The other Russell I am interested in is John, also born in Chiddingly.

Hi Jen

Are you still kindly doing Sussex Marriage lookups. I am particularly interested in marriages for Abraham Cave (I believe that he married a Sarah and a Mary), it is the former I am interested in (the latter was in 1778 Westbourne I believe). There might not be one as I have found matching IGI entries on the Isle of Wight (but this would seem a strange move to Westbourne!!!).
