John Simpson abt 1829 Yorkshire, England Leeds Yorkshire John Simpson abt 1830 Yorkshire, England Leeds Yorkshire 1829 is son of James (coal miner) & Esther - collier. 1830 is son of James (architect) & Mary.

	They sound about right so its not mary he was married to then or his children i have in my tree, i havent a clue how i got him married to mary though. it all started with james simpson 1851 married to hannah steel now that is deff. right his father john born 1829 married to ann. will that help, so sorry for been a pain.

Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 9,301 Send Message	All through the censuses (1851-1901) there is only one match. So John married to Ann with Randal, etc MUST be him. (On the information you have at the moment.) Therefore it's John whom you need to confirm. See my message earlier in the thread about John Simpson. The one with the time 22:35:02. I've tried to find Ann Simpson's maiden name but there are so many Anns born in Leeds. I'll keep searching. Ozi.
