Hi Nicki.I'm looking for children of Joseph and Jane Plimmer.Joseph 1814,Sarah ,1816 William 1824,George 1830 and Thomas 1833.Father Joseph b1791 was apparently a soldier in the Coldstream guards based, I think, in Woolwich.By 1836 he is in Wolverhampton working as a police officer.Have just recieved a copy of an extract from Staffs Police register which states he had 10 children.I 've got three unaccounted for! Would imagine so, I ordered my grandparents wedding certificate, they married in India and their marriage was recorded on an Army return. I got the info from findmypast and ordered using the reference that they provided.
