I was wondering if anyone is planning a visit to Kew anytime soon and would be willing to look something up for me?

I have the details of a Naval Officer and just need to know where and when he was born and his Naval Records seem the only way forward.

Just living in hope.......

Have you tried searching online at the National Archives?

Yes - they're not on line - you have to go and look on Microfilm.

Thanks for the thought though.
