I am going round in circles..................

I have the marriage certificate of my Great Grandparents......... Dec 1901...Tottenham parish Church.

Emily louisa Peirson age 21
Henry William Napier age 24 I have found him and his family on the 1901 Census living at the same address as on his marriage certificate......... I cannot find Emily at all..........Her father is William peirson.(deceased) the address is 7 Pear t, cottages, Hale Gardens.......One of the witnesses is a Florence Ada Peirson.......... but I cannot find any of these on the 1901 census no matter how I vary their names.......... could some one use a fresh pair of eyes for me or suggestions of where else I can look

Sorry no dont have her birth certificate .... I can only find an Emma louisa Peirson born in Edmonton 1880 that would fit in for births..............

Yes Claire thats the one I found....... what I cant find is anything of her in the 1901 census..........

No sorry I dont think Henrietta is related......... tho I couldnt say for sure...... I have my grandfathers birth certificate with both parents names matching the marriage cert .......

Sorry I can't find her but I am convinved that the birth we both found is her.
Going north from London you get to Tottenham then just after White Hart Lane you enter into Edmonton followed by Enfield. I pretty certain that the Edmonton Reg District covered all of these areas.

Birth cert will give a town of birth then we can search using "Emily" + "X Town" no surname. I've already tried the obvious ones shown above.

It does claire have found most of my family in that area........ on one side anyway............ Just one thing if Emily was in service would it be possible that she used a relatives address for her marriage cert...........

Diane think you may have found a connection there with Ellen Julia.......... will check it out,,,,,,,,,, but huray could be a break thru............

My dad used the best man's address, Mum took a fancy to a church out of parish!

I will order that birth cert Claire I am pretty much convinced that is the right one too......... thanks peeps for all this help, it was starting to drive me nuts..........lol
