All from St Blazey Cornwall any information to help find my paternal grandmother Dora Martin (Tonkin in 1919). Her parents were Edwin Martin 1846 Baker from St Blazey) mother Mary Sarah Martin (Nee Weymouth) a school teacher. |

I have a copy of the marriage certificate of Dora Martin to Sidney Tonkin 5c 34 being correct. That had a son (My father) Aubrey born 31st May 1921 who died in 1971 Sidney left for America never to return in 1923ish never to return & re married in USA, my father was taken into care & adopted under the name of Wortley. I would love to know what happened to my grandmother Dora. |

Do you have her exact date of birth? If she survived to 1984, it would be relatively easy to find a record of her death, since that database is searchable by first name and date of birth, and it might be possible to find an obvious candidate from the location, e.g. That would give you a surname, in the event that she remarried. |
