Find Ancestors

I seem to have lost my g/grandfather in 1881 and 1891.

His name was Edward Samuel Williams, a railway porter and working from his marriage cert, he was born 1880. The marriage took place 27th april 1903 in Eglwys Rhos, Carnarvon. His father's name was Charles, a labourer.

On the cert, the marriage witnesses are Elizabeth Jane Owen and Griffith Hughes Williams. I'm trying to determine from earlier census records if Edward Samuel Williams and Griffith Hughes Williams are twins.

There are two birth records under these names in Dec 1880.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I still don't know if Edward and Griffith are brothers. They could also be cousins unless I can find them together in 1891.

Thanks Rose. I think you may be right. It doesn't look like Griffith and Edward are brothers. Very likely cousins.

I think I'll send of for Griffiths birth cert too, just to find out the connection.
