Thanks to Sam and Margaret for all their help. I needed the address especially as a researcher is going to help me find my grandfather's Boer War records, and he was of course an absent voter in 1901. No doubt I will have a few more queries in 2008!! Thanks again and happy new year to you both. |

I thought it must be that, Sam. I went back to 1881 and it was definitely fret lead glazier. It's quite a hobby now, isn't it? |

I don't know about 1891 / 1901 Margaret but these ' modern' days 'fret lead' is another term for 'leaded windows' |

Would some kind person look up Joseph Thomas White and his wife Caroline resident in the Kilburn/Willesden area of London in the 1901 census please. Particularly need full address if possible. Will be living with son Ernest (9) and possibly sons Joseph and Edward. Very many thanks and a happy coming New Year. |
