Think you would have been better to have started a thread of your own on "Find Ancestors" :-)

There is a site named "Kingsclere Famillies" there are some Prangles on there
google it and follow the links to the database-there is a George born 1855

Not sure if anyone can help, but I'm also looking at Prangles in my family tree and getting numerous brick walls.

I'm trying to track a George Prangle, I know I have the right one in the 1911 and 1901. In 1901 he is living with his family, (wife Ellen, children Albert, Edward, Frederick, Helena and Margaret) at Westley, Sharsholt, Wincester. He was born apx. 1856 Stockbridge, Hampshire.

I can't find any birth records for him, the closest are two Prangnell's born in 1858 in Romsey.

He's not in the 1891 census, but his wife and children are, living with Ellen's father.

I've found a George Prangel in the 1881 census, but he's living as a lodger so no clues to his family, but birth place is also Stockbridge. The alternative is a George Prangle born in East Wellow.

After this is just spreads into various versions of Prangle and it's difficult to work out where my line goes...any clues?

Hi Folks,Happy New Year. These Prangles do not match up with nime.Grandad Alfred born 1871 Winchester, his father Thomas born 1843 thata as far as I can go. Need ideas. I would think Alfreds mother had died by 1881 census as he is living with Aldridges, was Thomas dead too. These all came from Kingsclere area of Hampshire.

On the 91 census there's a grandaughter Margaret Burns, age looks like 15 months, born Prescot, Lancs. She's with Elizabeth Burns, 50, widow and her children Henry 24, John A., 19 and Martha 19.

OK folks, what do you make of this?

On the 1901, there's an Annie "Prangh" - Prangle on original, living in Arum St, Arundel which is the address on marriage cert. Father is a maltster but his name is William!! Wife is Mary however! AAAGGHHH!
