I've been trying to find Francis on the 1891 but not a sign of him anywhere.

Which is what i have been doing

But i will say that my Gt g/parents on the 1901 said they were married but didn't in fact marry till 1914

The Catherine that had the brother Michael married William Austin in 1875......So no i don't think its the right one..if it was then William would of have to of died pretty quick for Catherine to marry in 1881

I'm even more confused now! So if the marriage that you put up is not the right one, they are not the people I'm looking for? Is that right?

I didn't realise how late it was and it's been a long day. I'm have another look at all this information in the morning and see what I make of it then.

I think I need to print this information off so I can read it better and see what I can match up with what I already have. I've never heard of this child Mary Ann, my Catherine and William had 5 children that I know of.

1881 Mary Ann Austin is 17 months, daughter of William & Catherine

I was looking for the birth certificate that I bought for Catherine but wasn't sure it was the right one. As she always stated on census that she was born in Liverpool and it was the only one at the right time. Her father was Patrick Gavin a farmers labourer and her mother was Mary Gavin formerly Daly. The address on birth cert. is 44 Milton Street, and the sub-district was Howard Street, Liverpool. Maybe you have found them after all. On the census there is a Mary Ann Austin too. Who is she and how old is she please?

That Immigration I posted earlier is probably a trip to do with his work but I wonder if it gives his POB

William was a batchelor when he married in 1881 according to marriage cert. He's not with his family on 1901 census. They are living in Essex but he is missing and so is his eldest son named Joseph.

I'm still here but I'm checking something out.
